With this privacy policy, we would like to inform you about the collection, processing and use (hereinafter “use”) of personal data. You can find out how to object to the use of your personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection provisions here.
Collection, processing and use of personal data
Personal data is information about your personal or factual circumstances, in particular name, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number or postal address. trido Coaching uses the personal data provided by you as far as it is necessary for the establishment, implementation or termination of a legal or quasi-legal relationship with you or for the use of a service provided by us. This is the case, among other things, when registering for the trido Coaching Newsletter or when responding to any contact requests. In these cases, we use your personal data exclusively to process your respective request. It is your free decision whether you provide us with your data for the above-mentioned purposes.
trido Coaching Newsletter
You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. Once you have signed up for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your subscription. You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: oliver@trido-coaching.de. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
Double opt-in and logging
The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in process. I.e. after registration you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in with foreign e-mail addresses. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes the storage of the login and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with MailChimp are logged.
Use of the shipping service provider “MailChimp
The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter sending platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in the context of these notes, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties. We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and thus undertakes to comply with EU data protection requirements. Furthermore, we have concluded a “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with its data protection provisions and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties. You can view MailChimp’s privacy policy here.
Statistical survey and analyses
The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. Within the scope of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of the retrieval are initially collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp’s intention to monitor individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.
Online call and data management
There are cases when we direct newsletter recipients to MailChimp’s websites. E.g. our newsletters contain a link with which the newsletter recipients can retrieve the newsletters online (e.g. in case of display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, such as the e-mail address. Likewise, MailChimp’s privacy policy is only available on their site. In this context, we pointed out that cookies are used on the websites of MailChimp and thus personal data is processed by MailChimp, its partners and service providers used (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. You can find more information in MailChimp’s privacy policy. In addition, we draw your attention to the possibility of objecting to the collection of data for advertising purposes on the websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ (for the European area).
Legal basis Data Protection Regulation

The use of the shipping service provider MailChimp, the performance of statistical surveys and analyses, as well as logging of the registration process, are carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with §§ 3.1 and 4.1 of the German Data Protection Act. Art. 6para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
